On Sunday evening, singer Jazmine Sullivan announced that she would be taking a break from music. She did this in a series of tweets to here 90,000+ followers.
"i'm making an official announcement that i am taking a break from music," she tweeted. "i'm trying to figure out who i am... w/out a mike, paper or pen. i promised myself when it wasn't fun anymore i wouldn't do it. and here i am. [sic]"
She added that she wasnt quitting music for good, but only taking a break since she's "got some things to figure out."
The singer's tweets later disappeared from the social networking site. No official statement from her record label regarding the matter has been released.
