Meek Mill and Rick Ross handling that paperwork!
Its now official that rapper Meek Mill was signed to Maybach Music Group, owned by established rapper, Rick Ross.
Shortly after th ink was dry on the paper, both rappers took to twitter about the deal.
Rick Ross: “EVERYONE WELCOME @MEEKMILL TO THE
EMPIRE!!! #MMG , ”
Meek Mill: “had 2 take my talents 2 south
beach!!! mamamamammaybach !!,”
This signing has occurred only days after Wale was also signed to the same label, and after earlier rumours that the two signings were to go down.
“Personally, I knew probably about a month
ago,” Meek explained. “But I got a team [and] we had
to all come to an agreement and find out how we
was gonna do this and how we was gonna make
this happen. We sat down, everybody got behind
my decision, and we ready to roll.”
He also announced that he was going to be dropping two mixtapes in March; one with original productions and the other with beats that other rappers have already used: Dream Chasing and Flamerz 4 respectively
